Fresh and nutritious feed promotes the health and growth of animals. But more than that, animals, whether they are raised for livestock or groomed for racing, deserve to be fed ethically. At Takanini Feeds, we only produce natural and healthy animal feed with no added hormones or antibiotics.
We guarantee that each batch of animal feed is manufactured on demand in our two plants, the Takanini and Mangatawhiri silos. We have traditional pellet feeds and a diverse range of feeds for poultry, dairy cattle and horses that meet specific health requirements to maximise growth.
Our signature poultry products, Chook Chow and Layer Pellets, are always the freshest chicken feed available in the NZ market as we only manufacture upon order. As part of our advocacy to serve the community, our products are made from locally sourced ingredients. Takanini Feeds actively supports local schools and community sports groups and events. We have been in the business for 20 years now and have since established trusting relationships with local farmers, pasture managers and elite sport enthusiasts.
