I was sold a broken laptop by the trademe user MiddlemanIt for $880. They told me I have no rights under the consumer guarantees act as it was a private sale. Another computer technician showed it had extensive water damage and the interior of the laptop is corroded. Kail Johnson, Technical director of MiddlemanIT has called me names and implied I am dishonest, despite knowing full well that it was liquid damaged. I just want my money back.
